Our Studio Model.

We Don’t Wait for Systems to Emerge. We Build Them.

It’s Not the Ideas. It’s the Systems.

Modern wooden house with a metal roof, set in a grassy field with trees, overlooking a lake and distant mountains under a soft sky.

In most places, regeneration is blocked not by a lack of ideas—but by the absence of basic systems.

Carbon finance isn’t reaching communities. Markets are fragmented. Critical tools don’t exist—or exist in formats that don’t work for the people on the ground. The infrastructure is either missing, extractive, or designed to serve everyone except those doing the work.

That’s where Omtse comes in.

A modern house with wooden exterior walls overlooking a body of water, with mountains in the background and a grassy hillside in the foreground during sunset.

We build what’s missing - then help it grow.

Omtse isn’t a fund. It’s not an accelerator. We’re a studio that exists to identify critical gaps in the climate economy and build what doesn’t yet exist—from scratch, in context, with the people who will use it.

If the right tool, system, or venture doesn’t exist—we don’t wait.  We prototype it. We test it. We get it into the field. And when it’s working, we spin it out into the world with support and structure.

How it works - Our model moves through three core stages:

We don’t just launch startups.

We build components of a climate economy - bit by bit, layer by layer, market by market. Not for Silicon Valley. For the farmers, builders, co-ops, and communities who need the infrastructure now.

Want to build something that fills a real gap? Bring us the need. The network. The ground-level insight. Let’s build something that holds.
